My First Photoshoot with Miss Aura: A Bold Step Into The Unknown

A year ago, I had the unique opportunity to photograph Miss Aura, and this first major shoot was much more than just a professional assignment – it was a real step into a new world where creativity, elegance and professionalism seamlessly blend. From the first moment I arrived on set, I felt that every detail had been thought out and every moment mattered. The atmosphere was truly inspiring – choreographer, coordinator and director Yana created a team that worked with impeccable precision while maintaining a warmth and elegance that made the whole process feel effortless and natural.
The photoshoot itself was an experience in the truest sense of the word. A boat ride, an evening disco-inspired party, and an exclusive visit to The Land of Legends amusement park – these moments were not just backdrops for the camera, but spaces that invited spontaneous creativity. Each instant offered new lighting, fresh compositions, and unexpected opportunities to capture unique moments.
One particularly meaningful aspect of the project was reconnecting with Karin Bacilková, whom I had previously helped build a portfolio for her entry into Miss Česká republika — a competition she ultimately went on to win. Meeting her again, now as a confident and accomplished presence, added a personal and prestigious dimension to the shoot. It was both motivating and an honor to work alongside someone whose journey I had supported from an early stage.
Of course, it wasn’t without its challenges. Dynamic lighting, limited space, and tight schedules tested my ability to improvise and make quick decisions. Yet these very challenges taught me that true professionalism lies in remaining calm, finding creative solutions, and maintaining the highest quality under pressure. Every obstacle became an opportunity for growth, and every decision under pressure pushed me further.
What I take away most from this photoshoot is the sense that work can simultaneously be a joy, an experience, and a lesson. The combination of elegance, meticulous organization, and authentic human energy created an environment where the images I captured are not only beautiful, but also tell the story of the moment.
