I am
Jan Polák is one of the most respected photographers in the Czech Republic, whose work has gained wide recognition on the international scene. His career began in his youth, when he was interested in analog photography. He gradually switched to digital technologies and specialized in portrait and fashion photography, where his talent was fully manifested.
Polák's work is known for its ability to combine technical precision with deep emotional charge, making each of his photographs tell a unique story. "Photography is not just about technique, it is a way of capturing what cannot be expressed in words."
This approach drives him to constantly improve and find new boundaries to push. His work is always thoughtful and yet full of emotion that lies behind each image.Whether it's portraits of celebrities, fashion shots or unexpected moments of everyday life, each of his images tells a story. Polák believes that photography has the power to express more than just visual reality, and strives to capture the essence of a moment that may seem ordinary at first glance, but in reality has a deep meaning.

Sony Alpha A7III
The Sony A7III remains one of the best all-rounders in the full-frame category, even a few years after its launch. It combines excellent performance, quality output and professional features, all at a still very competitive price. It's great for both stills and video. If you don't need the latest equipment (like the A7 IV), the A7 III is still a very solid choice.
Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art
The Sigma 24mm f/1.4 Art is an optically excellent wide-angle lens with great brightness and character. It offers a great price/performance ratio and output that comes close to (and sometimes equals) even significantly more expensive native lenses. An ideal addition to the Sony A7 III if you don't mind the slightly larger dimensions and sometimes slightly slower autofocus.
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art
The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art is still an excellent choice for those who want top optics at a reasonable price. It has excellent sharpness, beautiful bokeh, and is an ideal portrait 50mm. However, you have to take into account the larger size and weight and not the fastest autofocus (which can be especially noticeable when working on video or action shots).
Sigma 80mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art
The Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art is an excellent choice for portraits, weddings, feature photography and high-quality video. It offers a great combination of optical quality, control and portability – and at a significantly lower price than the competition. If you're looking for a bold portrait style with beautiful defocus and great detail, it's unbeatable in terms of price/performance.
